Road tripping…(going skiing)

The snow is really bucketing down and the novelty of it still makes it a lot of fun. Spirits are high as we are making our way up the mountain to go skiing again. The snow conditions should be amazing, which means there will be plenty of soft snow for me to plant my behind in when I fall down…and I will fall down!!! Hopefully our skills will improve during the course of the weekend.

Getting ourselves off on the road went by with just a minimum amount of stress. The kids and I took the bus to the train station. On said bus I only squashed one lady and kicked one young man whilst maneuvering my giant back pack and a huge carrier bag. Then we took the train into Oslo to meet mrlovely and after we had found some fold up seats on the packed train it was plain sailing.

I thank my lucky stars for books and iPads.

Now we are sat snug and warm in the car. In between iPads and books a long car ride is a very good way to catch up on each other’s weekly shinannigans 😉
